A strange thing happening in Song Mode and wondered if anyone else has experienced it…
As usual, I had made several, standard 2 bar sequences and then went to Song Mode to arrange them and then copy that to a single longer pattern.
I listened back to the newly made pattern and in one of the verses, I notice that a pattern that was supposed to play 8 times (by using the repeat pattern function in Song Mode) is only playing 7 times.
So I go back to the song and play it back in real time, while keeping my eye on the screen. It gets to the section where I had noticed the anomaly. What I observe is ‘Repeat 8x’ (on Pattern 6)
When playing the first cycle, rather than displaying ‘Repeat 8x #1’ it jumps directly to ‘Repeat 8x #2’.
So, just in one place in the song, while repeating Pattern 6 (that also plays elsewhere in the song, with repeats and no errors) the S2400 is randomly skipping one repeat.
I worked around the problem by just adding one extra repeat, but it’s quite strange. Always used Song Mode and never had this occur before.
