I’m using the newest firmware. The Eventide H90 has been able to respond to MIDI clock from other sources without issue. The Eventide H90 is set to tempo source MIDI clock. The H90 global settings are set to Clock Source DIN, Channel 1, and Receive Omni On. The S2400 is set to clock Source Internal, the MIDI Din Jack is set to Clock Out and MMC out. I tried the Device ID at both 1 and 127. The MIDI Out from the S2400 is connected to MIDI In on the H90.
I’ve tried with another synth and MIDI OX and the MIDI Clock from the S2400 is received fine on both. I’ve tried with transport both paused and active.
I brought this up with Eventide support and they couldn’t figure it out. For now I’m just setting the tempo manually per program on the H90 but it’d be great for the MIDI clock to be received automatically from the S2400. Any ideas? Thank you.
Also I didn’t mention that the H90 received other MIDI clock no problem. So it seems like the two aren’t communicating with eachother for some reason I can’t figure out and neither could Eventide support.
Works fine here with my H90 and latest S2400 fw. You don’t need MMC Out enabled on the S2400, just Clock (although that shouldn’t stop it working). It sounds like you have everything correct, so not sure what else could be going wrong.
