2026-05-29 Update
S2400_20260529.upd
This update is mainly bug fixes and stability improvements.
A lot of these came from forum reports. Thank you to everyone who posted clear examples and followed up with extra detail.
FIXES
- Analog Clock In sync now drives the sequencer again. (forum t/12205, thanks @_ceoneezm)
- Looped non-gated samples no longer click at the end of playback when the loop count is set to an integer (0.0x, 2.0x, … 99.0x). (forum t/12200, thanks @mattmars1)
- Entering and exiting Loop/Slice no longer causes a sudden volume drop when the sequencer is running. (forum t/12195, thanks @_ceoneezm)
- Switching tracks while inside the Loop/Slice waveform editor no longer causes a sudden volume change on the track you switch away from when the sequencer is running. (sibling of t/12195)
- On Internal clock, the sequencer no longer accelerates uncontrollably during playback. (forum t/12209, thanks @Djaone2053)
- Step Program: shifting a multi-event selection no longer resets inherited slice properties on the events past the first. (forum t/12194, thanks @_ceoneezm)
- Random/gibberish-named folders no longer get created on the SD card when S2400.SET is missing or corrupt. (forum t/7418, t/4679)
## Changes & Enhancements
- Assign Sound: When Assigning Sounds to empty tracks, the file browser now stays in the folder you last assigned from, instead of jumping back to the SD card root. Tracks that already remember their folder still open there. (forum t/12188/16, thanks @gasparpini)
