Clicks at the end of samples?

Not sure if its due to the last few updates or not, but I’ve just started noticing -

When using the MAIN OUTS for quiet samples such as high hats and stuff, i’m getting a pretty loud click at the end of my samples. Almost like you would if you were not zero-crossing your chops or using any envelope. Thing is, i’ve tried alot of different samples and messing with envelope settings is not stopping the click issue.

If I use any outputs instead of MAIN - then my issue is completely resolved.

Anyone have similar problems?

EDIT: I’m noticing it after any samples that have dead air at the end of them.

downgrading back to the 2025-04-28 Update firmware fixed this issue for me.

Are you 100% sure you’re on the latest firmware? ( S2400 Firmware Updates - #37 by bradholland )

Clicks were fixed in that firmware.

If you’re still getting these problems, please send in a support ticket with a project attached where we can hear the problem. Thanks!

yes i was on the latest firmware when I was having the issue S2400_20260601

just updated again to confirm its 100% the issue. rolled back to S2400_20250428 and my problem goes away.

Ok, Can you upload a project that shows this? Or send it into support if you’d rather not share here.

like a .wav file? or a video or something demonstrating it??

edit: ill post a video to my youtube acct in a minute and link it here

im running just the MAIN OUTS. not using individual outputs

@tweakrunsthis Thanks for the video. I was hoping you could share a project from your SD card that shows the problem. I need to check the WAV files and the settings in the actual project so see what the problem might be. PM me if you don’t want to upload it here.

I’m getting same issue on all channels even if use zero crossing or envelopes- it actually seems to be just pressing any pad that has sample on it because when I say -press pad 8 but I have it muted on my mixer the noise comes out of all channels (I tried muting each channel separately on my console ) and noise comes out of each channel separately. This is very aggravating as using multiple samples the noise adds up- my machine is in perfect condition and barely used so I really think it’s a issue in the electronics or update idk

Same

This is exactly what is happening on mine as well- but it’s on all channels and even if I mute (on my console) all channels and one by one un mute that noise comes out every channel- did you hear back on any issue updates ?

no, i dont think theres been a firmware update since ive reported this.

i would just roll back your firmware until somethings done about this.

Same issue with latest firmware. Very pronounced clicks at end of sample regardless of env setting.

I noticed it also effects the metronome lol.

Does Isla still need a project to hear issue or is it across the board?

I’m using DSP card, individual outs (headphone outs don’t appear to have it) and slaving s2400.

YES please. We still haven’t nailed down the cause, so any extra information helps. It’s definitely not affecting everyone.

Just noticed I’m having this issue too, I’m still one firmware back, haven’t updated to the Automation beta yet.

fix coming! bug only affects certain batches

Hey I just bought a unit from 2023 and almost sent it back because of this issue but Im glad I’m not alone. Guess I’ll wait. Fantastic machine btw.
